Meet the team

Andy Baker

Managing Director

Andy Baker has many years of experience in both retail and wholesale army surplus. Previous employment as Field Textile's Technical Advisor and his contacts in the military scene and disposals place him in an unrivalled position with industry knowledge.  An expert problem solver, with access to the South East's leading business consultants, he directs the East West Army Surplus team in a firm, but fair fashion.

Graham Kelly

Administration & Finance Director

Graham Kelly has been with the company for eleven years, starting as an Administration Assistant and has progressed to his current role as Administration & Finance Director.  His current duties include customer service, credit control, invoicing, shipping, preparing payroll and amongst others.  Most recently Graham has added export/import control to his responsibilities, which involves dealing with the processes of exporting/importing goods and liaising with government bodies.  Graham's business qualifications include City and Guilds Business and Administration Level 2, Advanced GNVQ in IT and MCP Server 2000 and he is looking to expand his skills to aid the business better.

Sunny McEwan

Sales & Operations Director

Sunny started his career as a part-time warehouse assistant, working alongside other warehouse staff.  Sunny showed a keenness to learn and was offered an NVQ apprenticeship in Warehousing.  Sunny moved into international sales and is now working with Ian Swindell (ActionCoach) to increase sales and open new routes.  His qualifications include BIT NVQ Level 2 and Warehousing NVQ Level 2.

Alfie Barratt

Part-Time Warehouse Supervisor

Alfie joined the company in July 2017 and worked alongside warehouse staff developing his skills and knowledge in warehousing.  Within six months the company offered Alfie an NVQ apprenticeship to help him progress.  Alfie accepted the apprenticeship, he completed along with forklift training, allowing him a better understanding of the company and to progress within his warehousing role.

The company was sad to see Alfie leave the company in January 2019 to pursue his own goals and gain experience in a non-warehousing role.  However, in January 2020; Alfie returned to the company as a part-time Warehouse Operative.  Since his return, he has thrown himself into the challenges of a busy warehouse and we have decided to make Alfie a part-time warehouse supervisor.
